Michael is the General Manager of Northern Pinetree Trust. Under his stewardship the Trust has grown and year on year delivering specialist enterprise and self employment support to over 500 clients annually. New partnerships have been developed, additional delivery programmes have been introduced and incorporate early awareness and access to specialist finance and loans.Award won: Queens Award for Enterprise Promotion

It has been particularly helpful in raising the profile and achievements of not only the Trust, but also those whom the Trust has supported and helped in establishing businesses of their own. They themselves have been an inspiration to encourage others who are disabled or disadvantaged and may otherwise not have considered working for themselves as an option. An endorsement of this kind from Her Majesty has helped forge new partnerships with organisations supporting similar client communities with different support provisions. It has led to greater recognition of the Trust as a whole, and additional awards such as the National Federation of Enterprise Agencies Award for its enterprise work with people with a disability.”
