Since starting in Newcastle in 2006 with a team of 3, it has expanded into a multi-disciplinary team of 250 across northern England and Yorkshire – and stayed true to its mission of serving vulnerable people and their families and carers.

“The Awards were very well-organised and it was a fantastic evening. We met lots of interesting people and made several contacts. We’re now providing support to a small business and a work experience opportunity, and have been featured in the Journal. Most importantly it’s given us a chance to stop and reflect on how far we’ve come since we started up, and what a huge need there is for the individualised and holistic support we offer to people whose lives have been turned upside down by brain injuries and neurological conditions.”
