Claire and husband Dave, founders of Atomic Web Solutions sold the business to a London company in March 2010 and are now concentrating on development on state of the art web marketing software

“Winning these awards boosted my confidence enormously. Before forming Atomic Web Solutions (AWS), I always thought I would work for someone else, not start a business, feature in a major business marketing campaign or appear on a national TV programme but I did all three!
After the WIN Award, I was contacted by the BBC, as they were searching Google for ‘north east women award winners’ and found my details. They asked if I would appear on business challenge programme ‘Beat The Boss’ which has been shown multiple times on national TV.
AWS grew to eight staff and we sold the company to a London company in March this year. The reason for the sale was to enable us to focus on development of state of the art Web Marketing software, which will be launched at end of 2010, so watch this space!”
