And the winners are.....
8th October. The waiting is over as the category winners of the Newcastle Enterprise Awards were announced at a glittering ceremony on Friday 8th October.
Held at the Civic Centre and attended by the Lord Mayor of Newcastle upon Tyne, local dignitaries, business support organisations and entrepreneurs across the region, the evening celebrated the achievements, talent and passion of those who live and work in Newcastle and who have really made a difference.
A total of 11 enterprising groups, businesses or individuals were presented with a trophy to recognise their achievements, including a special honour created and chosen by the Lord Mayor herself.
The winners, chosen from a shortlist of an outstanding pool of talent, are:
